Delete your YAIP account
This page explains how to delete your YAIP account (the email you sign in to YAIP Sync with) and the data stored with it. You can use YAIP without an account; if you never signed in to Sync, we hold no account data about you.

1. Ask us to delete your account
Enter the email address of your account and send the form. We check the request, delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and send a confirmation to that address. If we are not sure the request comes from you, we email that address first to confirm.
2. What is deleted
- Your account: email address and sign-in data.
- Your encrypted playlists and the sync passphrase check.
- Synced profiles, viewing progress, history, favorites, playback preferences and the active playlist.
3. Erase only your synced data
To delete your synced profiles, playlists and history but keep your account, open YAIP, go to Sync and choose Erase and start over. This happens immediately. Other devices then ask for a new passphrase.
4. Data on your devices
Profiles, playlists, history, favorites and downloads stored on a device stay there until you remove them. Delete the profile or playlist in YAIP, sign out of Sync, or uninstall the app to remove them. Signing out of the web app erases its data from the browser.
